Due to a growth with new business, we are looking to expand the operation set up and are looking for warehouse manager who has minimum 5 years’ experience in warehouse management.

The ideal candidate will have basic freight forwarding knowledge with experience in warehouse operation, inbound/outbound, pick-pack, piece picking handlings.

You will oversee the efficient receipt, storage, value-added services and dispatch of a wide variety of products.

Ultimately, you should be able to ensure productivity target are achieved and that all warehouse process are running smoothly and promptly.

Ideally live local to West Drayton or within the Heathrow area, be enthusiastic, and willing to learn.

Key Responsibilities- Managing warehouse in compliance with company’s policies & vision.

• Overseeing receiving, warehousing, distribution, pick-pack, piece picking operations.

• Setting up warehouse layout and ensure efficient space utilization.

• Initiate, coordinate and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures.

• Maintain standards of health & safety, hygiene and security.

• Manage stock controls and reconcile with data storage system.

• Liaising with operation manager & operation team.

• Liaising with clients, suppliers and transport companies.

• Plan work rotations, assign tasks appropriately and appraise results.

• Raising files, documents and invoices

Key Skills- Proven work experience as a warehouse manager.

• At least 5 years hands-on operational & management of warehouse operation/stock keeping experience.

• Good working knowledge of logistics, shipping lines, airlines, hauliers.

• Must be punctual, quick learner and be willing to learn all areas of the operation.

• Be able to demonstrate a good level of work efficiency and accuracy.

• Someone who enjoys working in a team and can cooperate well with other team members.

• Leadership skills and ability to manage staff.

• Professional communicator. (fluent English: reading, writing, speaking, polite telephone manner, emails)
