Overview:

Client has 8 operating rooms and 1 procedural suite. Client was the 2019 recipient of the Guardian of Excellence Award for Patient Satisfaction and the 2018 recipient of the True North Award for Excellence in OR Nursing and Care Delivery through CCI. The unit is the 1st in the country to use 4K video monitoring technology in their operating rooms. In 2024, the client was the recipient of the I AM Patient Safety Achievement Award that recognizes healthcare staff for their commitment to patient safety.

Responsibilities:

Full Time: 80 hrs per pay period. No weekends, holidays or on call.

Assists surgical team during operative procedures.

Arranges and inventories sterile set-up for operations, and hands items as needed to the operative team.

Assists in preparing and moving patients, and in cleaning the operating rooms.

Responsible for the provision of surgical care to meet identified patient outcomes, and to achieve the goals of the facility as directed by the Registered Nurse.

Qualifications:

Education Requirements

Post High School Diploma Program

Graduate of a Surgical Tech program – Required.

Experience

At least one year of Surgical Technologist experience in acute care setting

Certification and Licensure

BLS Certification

IDEAL CANDIDATE

Ideal candidate would have at least 1 full year of Surgical Technology experience in a main OR or SurgiCenter environment. Would have experience in ENT, Ortho, General, GYN, Plastics etc.
