The SQL Database Administrator role is a full-time, hybrid position based in Central Bedfordshire, England.
This role involves managing high availability SQL Server environments, problem resolution, performance tuning, security, disaster recovery (DR), capacity planning, and supporting new implementations and migrations. It is primarily remote with occasional office visits.

Responsibilities
• Database Management: Support and manage multiple mission-critical SQL Server environments.
• Performance Tuning: Optimize performance and resolve issues in high availability environments.
• Disaster Recovery: Implement and manage disaster recovery solutions using SQL Server AlwaysON.
• Security: Ensure database security and compliance.
• Capacity Planning: Plan and manage database capacity requirements.
• Implementations and Migrations: Involve in new implementations and migrations of databases.
• Problem Resolution: Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues.
Requirements
• Experience:
o Strong experience in MS SQL Server database administration.
o Experience with high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) solutions, including SQL Server AlwaysON.
o Proficiency in T-SQL and SSIS.
o Experience with Azure is desirable.
o Understanding of C#.Net is a plus.
