• Documentation and Planning:
• Create and maintain key construction management documents, including the integrated construction programme, budget, and risk register.
• Coordination:
• Coordinate all BayWa-appointed parties involved in construction.
• Organize and chair monthly site meetings with contractors and communicate with landowners and local stakeholders.
• Reporting and Compliance:
• Provide inputs for monthly reports to project sponsors.
• Identify needs for and manage construction advisors, including HSE, Engineering/Technical QA, and ECoW.
• Document and ensure compliance with the overall HSE process and approach for the project.
• Oversee HSE audits by BayWa and contractors, and monitor the implementation of recommendations.
• Manage BayWa’s response to any incidents, including reporting to senior management.
• Experience:
o Strong understanding of renewable energy project construction.
o Significant experience in coordinating large teams of colleagues, contractors, and advisors.
o Extensive experience in construction contract administration.
• Skills:
o Excellent organizational and communication skills.
o Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Education
• Relevant Degree Qualification:
o Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Renewable Energy, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Further Qualifications:
o Additional certifications in Health and Safety (e.g., NEBOSH) or Project Management are advantageous.
