Job Description

Ecocareers is seeking a Site Manager/Supervisor to oversee a £6.5 million low carbon renewable energy project in Hereford. This full-time, permanent role offers a salary up to £55,000, plus a car allowance and benefits. The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in site management, with expertise in mechanical and electrical projects. Essential qualifications include SMSTS or SSSTS. Experience in healthcare, public sector buildings, and decarbonisation projects is advantageous. The role involves managing project activities, ensuring quality and safety, and reporting to the Contract Manager.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Low Carbon Renewable Energy projects. • Manage and supervise project activities on-site. • Report directly to the Contract Manager. • Ensure projects are delivered efficiently and meet quality standards. • Handle mechanical and electrical aspects of projects. • Coordinate with various stakeholders including healthcare, commercial, and industrial environments. • Implement health and safety measures on-site.

Requirements

• Essential: • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Site Manager/Supervisor role or similar. • Experience with Mechanical & Electrical Projects, or specifically Mechanical or Electrical. • Experience with commercial/industrial projects. • SMSTS or SSSTS qualification. • Beneficial: • Experience managing Health & Safety on-site. • Experience with projects in Hospitals, Health Care, Schools, Leisure, or Public Sector buildings. • Experience with Decarbonisation projects, District Heating, Heat Pumps, Plant Rooms, Data Centres, Ducting.
