• Project Management:
• Independently manage complex, cross-functional industrial projects, coordinating with design teams and stakeholders.
• Oversee site selection, design completion, permitting, and contract execution.
• Control scope, drive timely decisions, and address blockers.
• Communication and Coordination:
• Collaborate with internal and external teams to drive results.
• Negotiate contracts with developers, contractors, and consultants.
• Represent Amazon in all project-related communications and negotiations.
• Cost and Risk Management:
• Perform pricing reviews, manage due diligence, and oversee schedule tracking.
• Estimate costs and forecast project needs.
• Safety and Compliance:
• Supervise the implementation of Amazon’s safety programs and standards.
• Ensure adherence to safety regulations and standards throughout the project lifecycle.
• Travel and Flexibility:
• Travel up to 40% of the time across Europe and other EMEA countries.
• Basic:
• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Proven project management experience from design through implementation.
• Experience with complex logistical facilities or similar projects.
• Fluent in English.
• Willingness to travel frequently.
• Preferred:
• Master’s degree in engineering, business administration, or related field.
• Experience in multiple construction disciplines.
• Experience with industrial automation, robotics, or similar.
• Knowledge of Building Information Modelling (BIM).
• Proficiency in additional languages (French, German, Italian, Polish, Arabic, Turkish).
