• Lead and manage all design analysis for global products, adhering to specifications and QCD targets.
• Oversee the Computer Aided Analysis (CAA) team and manage day-to-day operations.
• Develop and recommend best value analysis tools and methods for AD Products, including exploring options beyond FEA.
• Conduct staff management, including training needs assessment, staff reviews/appraisals, and recruitment interviews.
• Implement and ensure adherence to CAA processes across the team.
• Maintain and control the AD approved materials database.
• Plan and allocate resources for analysis team projects, including outsourcing as needed.
• Manage relationships with software suppliers to ensure quality and compliance.
• Regular travel to ADL sites and involvement in broader business goals and strategies.
• Degree or equivalent experience in a relevant discipline, with a minimum of 3 years in a management/leadership role.
• High technical competence with proven experience in Design Analysis processes, including FEA and Modal Analysis, preferably within the automotive sector.
• Strong computer literacy and proficiency with specialist software tools.
• Excellent communication and people management skills.
• Ability to lead a team effectively, motivate staff, and develop strong working relationships across the engineering community.
• Experience in developing and implementing CAA processes and procedures.
• Ability to mitigate risks and identify opportunities for improvements in tools and processes.
