Job Description

Adecco is seeking a Security Business Analyst for a contract position based in Wokingham, England. This on-site role focuses on physical security and involves supporting the transition of procedures and processes to establish a new Corporate Security function. The position requires SC Clearance, which will be provided by the client. The role includes working closely with security project managers and stakeholders to translate requirements into actionable user stories and ensure the successful implementation of security solutions.

Responsibilities

• Requirement Gathering: Work with business and programme stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document requirements related to physical security and corporate security systems. • User Stories and Backlog Management: Convert business and technical requirements into user stories, epics, and use cases. Prioritize and manage these items within the product backlog. • Process and Documentation: Develop and maintain business process maps, functional specifications, and security guidelines. Create and update release documents, user manuals, and communication materials. • Stakeholder Engagement: Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders, providing guidance and updates on project progress. Conduct Backlog Refinement sessions and Sprint Reviews. • Testing and Implementation: Support the secure design and implementation of technology solutions. Coordinate with end-users during User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and resolve issues related to upcoming features. • Operational Integration: Understand and integrate IT services with security and operational services, including SLAs and vendor relationships.

Requirements

• Essential Skills/Experience: • Experience in physical security and/or information technology roles, including end-to-end project experience in security system analysis. • Proficiency in requirement gathering, creating user stories, backlog refinement, and Agile methodologies (Scrum). • Knowledge of business documentation (e.g., BLDs, FLDs) and security principles. • Experience with Microsoft Visio, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. • Basic understanding of IT and Cyber Security terminologies. • Strong communication skills, both written and spoken. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Desired Experience: • Experience with Critical National Infrastructure (CNI) or utilities industry is advantageous. • Higher education in IT or related fields and IT/security certifications are beneficial.

Salary

£156,000 per year
