A luxury residential developer in London Job Description: Our client, a renowned luxury residential developer in London, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the construction of their high-end residential projects in Central London. This role is critical in ensuring the successful delivery of projects, adhering to quality standards, and meeting tight deadlines while managing stakeholder expectations.

Responsibilities

– Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets for residential construction projects – Coordinate and oversee the work of various contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely project completion – Conduct regular site inspections, monitor progress, and identify potential risks or issues, implementing mitigation strategies as needed – Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and safety standards throughout the construction process – Manage change orders, variations, and contract documentation effectively – Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders, providing regular progress updates and addressing concerns – Ensure project quality standards are met and manage quality control processes – Manage project resources, including materials, equipment, and personnel, to optimize efficiency and productivity – Implement and enforce project safety policies and procedures to maintain a safe working environment – Oversee project close-out activities, including punch lists, final inspections, and client handover

Requirements

– Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience) – Proven experience as a Project Manager in the construction industry, with a strong track record in delivering high-end residential projects – In-depth knowledge of construction methods, materials, and techniques, as well as building codes and regulations – Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills to effectively manage teams and stakeholders – Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with the ability to think critically and proactively – Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera) and construction management tools – Familiarity with contract administration, risk management, and change management processes – Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines while maintaining high quality standards – Valid project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is preferred
