• CAD Modeling: Develop detailed 3D models and engineering drawings using CAD software, including SolidWorks, CATIA, and Creo.
• Analysis: Perform structural and thermal analyses to ensure payload components’ integrity and performance under space conditions.
• Collaboration: Work with systems engineers to ensure seamless integration of payload components with the spacecraft.
• Testing: Conduct and oversee environmental testing (vibration, thermal, vacuum) to validate design performance.
• CAD Proficiency: Expertise in CATIA V6 / 3DX is mandatory; experience with SolidWorks or PTC Creo/Pro-E is desirable.
• Testing Experience: Experience with environmental testing and qualification of space hardware.
• Knowledge: Strong understanding of materials science, structural analysis, and thermal management principles.
• Personal Traits: Passionate about engineering, result-oriented, and proactive.
Security Clearance: Must have lived in the UK for at least 5 years with no gaps of 3+ consecutive months to be eligible.
