• Process Design: Design and implement innovative manufacturing processes and systems, emphasizing patient welfare, product quality, and cost efficiency.
• Product Integration: Work with product development teams to integrate new products or changes into the manufacturing process.
• Lean Manufacturing: Apply lean manufacturing principles to minimize waste and maximize production efficiency.
• Problem Solving: Conduct root cause analysis for production issues and develop effective solutions.
• Compliance: Ensure all manufacturing processes comply with safety standards and environmental regulations.
• Continuous Improvement: Lead initiatives to enhance process capabilities using feedback and performance metrics.
• Experience: Proven experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably in the medical devices or high-performance materials sector.
• Education: Recognized apprenticeship in injection moulding, toolmaking, or a related field. HNC, HND, or equivalent vocational or higher qualification.
• Technical Skills: Familiarity with CAD/CAM software and understanding of lean manufacturing principles.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach.
• Communication: Excellent communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate across departments.
• Commitment to Quality: Thorough understanding of industry standards and regulations with a focus on quality.
