• Team Leadership:
• Recruit and develop construction team members including Site Managers, Supervisors, and Trainees.
• Provide functional management, ensuring compliance with CDM Regulations and contractor performance.
• Process Improvement:
• Collaborate with other Lead Construction Managers to identify and document process improvements.
• Maintain and update construction manuals and documentation.
• Project Planning and Management:
• Oversee site selection, route selection for OHLs and UGCs, and other project planning activities.
• Review contractor ITT returns and manage initial commissioning and outage planning.
• Stakeholder Engagement:
• Manage external stakeholder interactions and lead safety forums with SHW colleagues.
• Essential:
• Proven experience leading large-scale, multidisciplinary infrastructure projects.
• Understanding of NEC contracts and previous experience as NEC Supervisor.
• Certificates for site access (CSCS / EUSR) and site management qualifications (NEBOSH, IOSH, SMSTS or equivalent).
• Knowledge of health and safety legislation and CDM 2015 Regulations.
• Demonstrated experience as the ‘Client’ from a CDM and contractual perspective.
• Additional Requirements:
• Full current driving license for travel to and from sites.
