• Implement and maintain network security infrastructures.
• Monitor system performance and network traffic for unusual activity.
• Configure and maintain security appliances, including firewalls, VPNs, and IDS/IPS.
• Support network security solutions and respond to security incidents.
• Review and recommend network design improvements.
• Perform regular security audits and risk assessments.
• Stay current with security threats and new technologies.
• Collaborate with engineers and assist with escalated issues.
Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Security, or a related field.
• Skills:
• In-depth knowledge of firewalls (Cisco/FortiGate preferred), VPN, IPS/IDS, NAC (Cisco Identity Service Engine preferred), and cloud technologies (AWS/Azure preferred).
• Basic knowledge of routing and switching.
• Experience with LAN, WAN, and related networking technologies.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a global team.
• Capability to review logs and interpret events.
• Certifications: Professional certifications are highly desirable.
• Additional: Ability to perform duties securely and handle sensitive information. Willingness to work outside business hours occasionally.
