Job Description

The Construction Project Regional Manager will oversee a programme of projects within Veolia’s Energy Projects Construction team, managing the delivery of projects in the South of the UK. The role requires leadership of project teams, ensuring proper resourcing and effective risk management. The position is home-based with travel across the region.

Responsibilities

• Manage a team of Senior Project Managers and Project Managers in the construction phase of Energy Projects. • Oversee the deployment of resources to ensure all projects are sufficiently staffed. • Improve work processes, procedures, and tools within the team. • Review and ensure high-standard reporting across projects. • Implement robust risk management strategies and mitigate risks. • Provide feedback to the Development Team to improve future project estimates and proposals. • Ensure effective project leadership and change management.

Requirements

• Experience in managing complex and high-value projects in a construction environment. • Leadership or people management experience. • Familiarity with standard forms of contract (e.g., NEC4, MF/1, IChemE Red Book). • Strong time management and relationship management skills. • Experience with retrofit and live environment projects. • Knowledge of building services and building scopes of work.
