• Design and Analysis: Undertake water infrastructure and non-infrastructure design with minimal supervision, including producing engineering drawings, reports, and calculations.
• Project Management: Lead design elements, check the work of others, and supervise junior staff. Develop designs in line with client requirements and design standards.
• Site Surveys: Conduct site visits and surveys to support design development and ensure project requirements are met.
• Reporting: Prepare and present engineering solutions through clear and concise reports, drawings, and calculations.
• Collaboration: Work effectively within multi-disciplinary teams and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Health and Safety: Incorporate health, safety, and welfare principles into designs, familiar with CDM Regulations.
• Education: Relevant degree qualification, with preference for those working towards additional professional qualifications.
• Experience: Strong technical background in designing Water/Wastewater infrastructure and non-infrastructure projects.
• Skills: Proficient in MS Office and basic engineering packages like AutoCAD. Strong written and oral communication, organizational skills, and a client-focused approach.
• Team Leadership: Ability to lead and work collaboratively within a team environment, with a dedication to meeting project deadlines and achieving continuous improvement.
• Health and Safety: A strong focus on health and safety in engineering practices.
