• Deal Management: Prospect, negotiate, and close deals from initial contact through signed agreements. Manage a variety of deal types including collaborations, joint ventures, and licensing.
• Business Case Modeling: Develop financial business cases for each opportunity and structure agreements with partners.
• Consultative Selling: Engage in a consultative selling process to sell and deploy biotech platforms and consulting services.
• Partnership Development: Conduct due diligence, formulate partnership strategies, and present recommendations to the management team.
• Representation: Represent the company at congresses, events, and other industry gatherings.
• Education: MBA or graduate degree in Management, Technical, or Engineering field.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years in a sales engineer or business development role within the pharmaceutical, medical device, or life sciences sectors.
• Scientific Background: Strong scientific understanding of biopharmaceuticals with the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly.
• Networking: Established network in the life sciences sector, ideally with international or regional connections.
• Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication, negotiation, and sales capabilities. Ability to prioritize and advance sales pipelines effectively.
• Language: Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus.
• Attributes: Self-motivated with a passion for start-up environments and SMEs.
