• Infrastructure Design and Deployment: Aid in the design, deployment, and maintenance of survey, IT, and communications infrastructure for ASV operations.
• Integration and Compatibility: Lead the integration of ASVs with Rovco’s systems and ensure compatibility with emerging technologies.
• On-Site Expertise: Act as the on-site expert during ASV deployments, providing hands-on support and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge Transfer: Facilitate the transfer of knowledge to operational teams, ensuring effective management and operation of ASVs.
• System Improvements: Identify opportunities for system enhancements and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement improvements.
• Compliance and Safety: Ensure all ASV deployments comply with industry standards, safety regulations, and Rovco’s operational procedures.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Work with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, to understand project requirements and deliver exceptional service.
• Offshore Work: Required to work offshore across the fleet of vessels.
• Degree in Survey, Engineering, Robotics, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience with autonomous systems, preferably in the offshore or maritime industry.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to challenges.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in dynamic environments.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration and presentation.
• Collaborative mindset and ability to work in cross-functional teams.
• Willingness to travel internationally and work offshore as needed.
