• Supervise, direct, and manage the Mechanical engineering team, including resource planning and workload management.
• Contribute to office resource planning and monitor project profiles to ensure efficient operation.
• Prepare schemes using CAD, produce budget costs, detailed specifications, analyze tenders, and supervise installations.
• Design and manage mechanical services projects, including budget estimates, drawings, specifications, tender documentation, and contract administration.
• Act as the primary point of contact for engineering issues across multiple clients.
• Promote and manage the delivery of mechanical services installations and energy management services.
• Identify new business opportunities and contribute to business plan objectives and targets.
• Inspire a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
• Demonstrate commitment to the Norse Way CSR strategy.
• Professional membership of the Chartered Institute of Building Service Engineers or working towards Chartered status.
• Extensive experience in a similar role.
• HNC/HND in a Mechanical Engineering related discipline.
• Holds a current site card or is prepared to attain one immediately.
• Familiarity with construction, health and safety legislation, and risks associated with asbestos.
