• Ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations and CDM requirements, producing necessary documentation for compliance.
• Adhere to the company’s ISO standards and health and safety procedures.
• Oversee the preparation and follow-up of method statements and risk assessments.
• Participate in site progress meetings and project reviews to monitor progress and resolve any issues.
• Manage project variations, interim applications for payment, and prepare monthly forecasts and Cost to Complete reports.
• Support the Commercial Manager in negotiating final account agreements.
• Maintain up-to-date project files, ensuring adherence to the company’s quality management procedures.
• Collaborate with the estimating and sales team to address the technical and commercial aspects of the project.
• Develop and maintain a detailed project program, ensuring timelines and dependencies are properly managed.
• Oversee the procurement process, ensuring materials, equipment, and services are delivered cost-effectively.
• Work with the design team to coordinate all design activities.
• Monitor and evaluate subcontractor performance.
• Prepare O&M Manuals and ensure the project is successfully handed over.
• Experience working with a main contractor or large subcontractor.
• Proven people management experience, with the ability to mentor and develop team members.
• Strong technical knowledge of Electrical, Mechanical, and Plumbing Services.
• Effective problem-solving skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage projects efficiently.
• Strong attention to Health and Safety matters.
• Commercial awareness with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
• A degree or equivalent in Electrical/Mechanical/Building Services Engineering.
• Experience in data center project management (desirable).
