• Administration and Optimization: Manage the daily administration of LogicMonitor, configuring and optimizing it for performance and reliability.
• Device and Technology Monitoring: Configure and monitor a diverse range of customer devices and technologies, minimizing unnecessary alerts.
• Issue Resolution: Identify and troubleshoot monitoring issues, providing effective resolutions in a timely manner.
• Continuous Improvement: Enhance monitoring services by developing strategies to reduce downtime and improve service quality.
• Custom Solutions: Utilize API calls, PowerShell, and SQL to create custom monitoring solutions tailored to customer needs.
• Compliance and Documentation: Ensure monitoring configurations comply with industry standards and best practices; maintain up-to-date documentation.
• Expert Guidance: Serve as a subject matter expert on monitoring tools and configurations, providing support and guidance to internal teams and customers.
• Technological Updates: Stay informed about the latest monitoring technologies and practices, applying new insights to improve processes and solutions.
• Experience: Proficient in LogicMonitor configuration and administration, with extensive experience in network device monitoring.
• Additional Tools: Previous experience with other monitoring tools is required.
• Custom Solutions: Experience in developing custom monitoring solutions using API calls, PowerShell, and SQL.
• System Monitoring: Experience with Windows, Linux, and Cloud (Azure, AWS) system monitoring and administration.
• Managed Services: Experience working in managed services environments.
• Certifications: LogicMonitor LMCA, LMCP, or LMCD certification and Cisco certification (e.g., CCNA) are preferred.
