Job Description

The Sourcing & Supplier Manager will lead sourcing engagements and manage the relationship with Microsoft. This role involves overseeing vendor management policies, ensuring compliance with outsourcing and third-party policies, and monitoring supplier performance. The position requires strong IT procurement experience, vendor management skills, and knowledge of the evolving IT landscape.

Responsibilities

• Vendor Management: • Establish, manage, and support the development of third-party vendor management policies and frameworks. • Manage key relationships with Microsoft to align with business strategies and goals. • Maintain a central register of Microsoft vendor arrangements and oversee onboarding processes. • Conduct suitability assessments in consultation with relevant stakeholders and review supplier/materiality questionnaires. • Compliance and Reporting: • Ensure compliance with outsourcing and third-party policies, as well as broader organizational policies. • Design and implement monitoring and reporting processes for internal committees. • Prepare due diligence reports with recommendations for internal committees. • Complete reporting on supplier performance and third-party risks. • Risk Management: • Monitor third-party relationships, identify risks, and coordinate mitigation efforts with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs). • Liaise with the Risk function to escalate and manage supplier risk-related issues. • Contract Management: • Support the Legal function in managing new and renewal contracts with Microsoft. • Review and negotiate IT contracts to ensure favorable terms and compliance. • Process Improvement: • Collaborate with Business Process Owners to produce improvement and efficiency plans. • Design and implement processes to enhance vendor management and supplier performance.

Requirements

• IT Vendor Management: • Strong experience in managing IT vendors, ideally with Microsoft. • Proven experience in outsourcing and third-party risk management. • Regulatory and Compliance Knowledge: • Knowledge of regulatory outsourcing and third-party risk management requirements. • Understanding of IT sourcing and procurement principles and best practices. • Commercial and Negotiation Skills: • Proven commercial experience and strong negotiation skills. • Experience in reviewing and negotiating IT contracts. • Stakeholder Management: • Strong stakeholder collaboration and relationship-building skills. • Ability to work effectively with various internal and external stakeholders. • Strategic and Analytical Thinking: • Strategic mindset with strong analytical skills. • Creativity to seek non-traditional solutions to challenges. • Communication Skills: • Excellent communication and listening skills. • Ability to prepare and present reports and recommendations clearly. • Time Management: • Ability to manage time effectively, meet deadlines, and prioritize tasks.
