• Technical Support: Provide expertise for diagnosing issues and creating improvement plans.
• Project Management: Plan and manage major outage projects, maintenance contracts, and long-term service agreements (LTSAs).
• Asset Management: Develop and execute asset replacement strategies, considering obsolescence and technological advancements.
• Financial Management: Assist in budgeting and reviewing financial performance against budgets.
• Operational Efficiency: Work with Operations, Maintenance, Assurance, and Logistics teams to maximize plant efficiency and implement best practices.
• Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with company standards and statutory requirements.
• Improvement Projects: Initiate and manage projects to enhance plant performance and reliability.
• Education: Honours Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience: Proven experience as a Mechanical Technician or higher in EfW, heavy industry, or manufacturing settings.
• Professional Registration: Actively working towards Chartered status (IEng/CEng).
• Safety Qualification: NEBOSH or equivalent.
