Design/Installation/Configuration:
• Design, install, and configure network infrastructure at new sites, including switches, firewalls, wireless, and ISP circuits.
• Liaise with vendors, ISPs, and internal teams to deliver network infrastructure.
• Create and manage network standards for LAN, WAN, WLAN, and cloud networks (AWS/Azure).
Operations:
• Troubleshoot and resolve network incidents from the service desk, users, and monitoring systems in both on-premises and cloud environments.
• Implement routine changes such as OS upgrades, routing updates, and firewall rule modifications.
• Identify and automate regular network functions through coding.
• Experience: 5+ years in IT, with at least 5 years focused on global IT network domains.
• Hands-On Experience: Proven track record in building network infrastructure at new sites.
• Expertise: Engineering and design-level skills in Palo Alto Networks Firewalls/Panorama/GP, Aruba Wireless Controllers, and Cisco Cat switches.
• Cloud Network Solutions: Experience in designing and implementing network solutions in AWS/Azure.
• Networking Protocols: Deep understanding of Routing/Switching protocols, Wireless & NGFW technologies.
• Performance Monitoring: Experience with centralized network performance monitoring and management tools.
• ITSM Framework: Familiarity with ITSM frameworks and ability to operate in a fast-paced environment.
• Automation: Experience with automation frameworks using Ansible, Python, Terraform.
• Travel: Willingness to travel for short durations for site builds and participate in off-hours troubleshooting calls.
