Prepare detailed cost estimates, bills of quantities, and tender documentation for construction
projects.
• Conduct value engineering and cost-control exercises to ensure projects are delivered within
budget.
• Evaluate and analyze tenders, negotiate with contractors, and make recommendations for the
most suitable option.
• Monitor project costs, track variations, and prepare interim valuations and final accounts.
• Liaise with project managers, architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure smooth project
delivery.
• Resolve commercial disputes and claims, if any, through negotiation and contractual procedures.
• Ensure compliance with relevant construction legislation, regulations, and industry best
practices.
• Prepare reports and presentations for senior management and clients.
• Minimum 4 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor, preferably working with main contractors
on residential or commercial projects.
• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Proficient in using cost estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to work effectively with project teams and
stakeholders.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of construction contracts, legislation, and industry best practices.
