The Radiology Department is a specialty medical service that offers a wide range of imaging techniques to diagnose and treat a broad range of medical conditions.

we offer the full spectrum of techniques, using the most advanced equipment. Combined with Bone Densitometry, CT, Interventional, Mammography, MRI, Nuclear Medicine, PET, Ultrasound, and X-ray. We perform more than 500,000 procedures annually. In fact, a number of radiology advancements and applications were developed here.

Specific Skills
  • Graduate of a formal radiology technology-training program in an AMA approved school.
  • Flexibility in scheduling, with the ability to rotate shifts and coverage for weekends and holidays.
  • Must be willing to assist at any of the Clients Medical Center Locations.
  • Minimum of 3 years of Mammography experience for Sr level.  More than 5 years of Mammography Exp for Prin. level
  • ARRT (M) or CRT  (M) Mammography Certification
  • ARRT (R) or CRT (R) Radiology License
  • BLS Basic Life Support (CPR) Certification
  • Requires proof of mammography - specific training of at least 40 documented hours, if certified after April 27, 1999.
  • Requires proof of having performed at least 200 mammography exams in the last 24 months (rolling 24-month calendar)
  • Requires certificates of at least 15 CEU's in Mammography in the last 36-month period (rolling 36 month calendar).
  • Requires proof of MQSA approved 8 hours each of Digital and 3D Tomosynthesis training.
Responsible For
Our licensed Mammography Technologist performs screening and diagnostic breast imaging and procedures. This technologist must be able to produce ACR quality images in both diagnostic and screening exams. This technologist is able to interact with clinicians and other departments to coordinate patient care.  Sr. Mammo Tech PD pays $83.43hr hr and Prin Mammo Tech PD pays $93.01 hr. This technologist is able to evolve with radiology information system (RIS) and PACS systems. This technologist must participate in performance improvement activities in the department. Maintains appropriate quality control records and participates in routine equipment testing and maintenance.  Additionally, this Mammography Technologist must be willing to train and interact with students and new hires when necessary.
Additional Requirements
Must be willing to work at clients’ different locations as needed. Must be willing to work required variable hours.
