Overview

Cardiovascular/ Interventional Imaging Technologist is responsible for the performance of advance cardiovascular and interventional imaging procedures.  Serves as a customer service representative to patients, their families, the public, and the medical staff.  Participates in quality assurance and organizational improvement activities.  Provides age-appropriate care (e.g., assists with data collection and providing care) for adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.

Specific Skills
  • Additional training in Angiocardiography, or equivalent education/experience
  • Advanced registration from ARRT in Cardiovascular and Interventional imaging upon hire
  • 2 years experience as a scrub technician in an acute care hospital
Responsible For
  • Perform advanced cardiovascular and interventional imaging procedures under the general direction of the Department Manager, Lead Technologist, and in collaboration with the Medical Director, cardiologists, radiologists, and other medical staff.
  • Serve as a customer service representative, providing exceptional care and support to patients, their families, and the public.
  • Actively participate in quality assurance and organizational improvement activities to enhance service delivery and patient outcomes.
  • Provide age-appropriate care, assist with data collection, and deliver comprehensive care to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
  • Maintain compliance with relevant certifications, including Radiologic Technologist certification, ARRT certification, and BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
