SAP Functional Consultant
Job Description
This position is for an SAP Functional Resource in WorkForce Software. This position is to provide backup support for clients internal HR functional consultant. The primary focus in provisioning and support would be to address any incidents that occur while the primary support resource is away. The most critical support function is to address any WFS issues that may arise during this time. Additionally, there may be other enhancement related requests related to advance configuration that may be needed. This assignment also involves project work with the HR to SF project that is in progress. The resource will also guide/provide assistance the clients internal HR resource for configuration requirements.
Mandatory Education:
Post secondary education in support of computer technology.
Desired Education:
· Desired certifications in SAP WFS, with knowledge of integration with SF EC, SF PY and SAP ECC etc.
· WorkForce Software Level 1 Time and Attendance Configuration Specialist Certification
· WFS Custom Crystal Reporting Certification
· Workforce Software Configuration – Current Certification
· Absence Compliance Tracker – Current Certification
Mandatory Experience:
SAP WFS direct hands-on experience with SAP WFS. Configuration, design, support, usage and similar.
– Technical aptitude with relevant business experience
– Minimum of 5 years relevant SAP experience including implementation, upgrade, support and maintenance experience, business experience etc.

Deliverables:
Provide leadership combined with strong communication and facilitation skills as direct in-person involvement with key business partners. Many will be Managers and Directors to build the Business Requirements Document BRD, and to achieve approval sign-off on requirements as this key step will determine scope of work for delivery of project. – Participate in Functional Specification (Requirements document) development and review. Design, develop (including blueprinting), realization, implementation solution considering long term Sustainment of SAP enabled processes. Write Functional Specification. Configure and Test. Implement the Design & UAT activities. -Support Integration testing activities, including reviewing the Test scripts, providing data and running programs/batch as needed. -Transition the functionality to the Sustainment team. Development and review of training Materials as required. This role is primarily focused on “delivery”, and not on planning or road-mapping. Provide subject matter expertise for system improvements in the WFS/HCM space.
